On July 3, 2010, "as a child of the Cold War" Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton remarked
to to Members of the U.S. Delegation to the New START Negotiations and Nuclear
Posture Review Department Staff:
"As every one of you know
better than I, we are now looking at new threats from nuclear and radiological
materials in the hands of rogue regimes."[1]
This reporter was in the audience on Feb. 10, 2007 when Dr.
Phyllis Bennis, Mid East analyst explained, "Iran has signed the NPT, which
allows them the right to have nuclear power and to enrich uranium. The 185
non-nuclear states have agreed to give up the right to have nuclear weapons and
the five nuclear powers that signed the NPT agreed to get rid of their nuclear
weapons... Iran is not in violation of the NPT, but America is! The USA has
been in violation ever since the day they signed it. The USA is acting like a
rogue state." [2]
On July 7, 2010, Israel's Army Radio
reported that the United States has sent Israel a ‘secret’ document committing
to nuclear cooperation between the two countries. According to Army Radio, the
U.S. has pledged to sell Israel materials used to produce electricity, as well
as nuclear technology and other supplies, despite the fact that Israel is not a
signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
A Brief History of July 16:
At 5:30 AM on July 16, 1945, the nuclear age
began, when the first nuclear bomb was exploded by
the American federal government at the Trinity Test Site, at the White Sands
Missile Range in New Mexico. Plutonium and other toxic and radioactive
chemicals were dispersed for hundreds of miles and some areas are still
contaminated.
The bomb exploded over the New Mexico
desert, vaporizing a tower and turning the asphalt to green sand. Seconds
later a huge blast of heat scorched the desert. No one could see the
radiation generated by the explosion, but they all knew it was there. A
half a mile away, the steel container called "Jumbo," weighing over
200 tons was knocked over as the orange and yellow fireball stretched up and
spread into a second column, that rose and flattened into a mushroom cloud;
imprinting upon the human consciousness a symbol of violent power and
destruction.
The father of the atomic bomb, Dr. Robert
Oppenheimer chose to name this harrowing happening the "Trinity" test.
"Why I chose the name is not clear, but I know what thoughts
were in my mind. There is a poem of John Donne, written just before his death,
which I know and love. From it a quotation: 'As West and East, In all flat
Maps—and I am one—are one, So death doth touch the Resurrection.' That
still does not make a Trinity, but in another, better known devotional poem
Donne opens, ‘Batter my heart, three person'd God.'"
"Batter my Heart" continues:

That I may rise and stand, o'erthrow me, and bend

In the moment that followed the atomic inferno, Oppenheimer
recalled this sentence from the Bhagvad Gita:
"Now I have become death, the destroyer of the worlds."
When Oppenheimer was asked for his thoughts regarding Sen. Robert Kennedy's efforts
to urge President Lyndon Johnson to initiate talks to stop the spread of nuclear weapons, he
responded: "It's 20 years too late. It should have been done the day after
Trinity."
Indeed; but it was not and led to Little Boy, the uranium
bomb, that dropped on innocent civilians in Hiroshima on
August 6, and then the plutonium weapon of mass destruction, Fat Man, followed
three days later on the innocents of Nagasaki of on
August 9.
Sixty-five years later,
we all suffer from the continuous
ionizing radiation pollution and contamination in the United States and other
locations throughout the world.
Today’s UN-Holy "Trinity" is a
triune of radiological horrors: nuclear bombs, nuclear reactors, and conventional
Uranium Weapons (such as Depleted Uranium or DU) that are used in military
testing, training, and military combat.
In a 71-page report released March 25, 2009,
by Human Rights Watch, Israel’s repeated firing of US-made white phosphorus
shells over densely populated areas of Gaza was indiscriminate and is evidence
of war crimes.
"Rain of Fire: Israel’s Unlawful Use of White Phosphorus in Gaza,"
provides eye witness accounts of the devastating effects that white phosphorus
munitions had on civilians and civilian property in Gaza.
"Human Rights Watch researchers found spent shells, canister liners, and
dozens of burnt felt wedges containing white phosphorus on city streets,
apartment roofs, residential courtyards, and at a United Nations school in Gaza
immediately after hostilities ended in January.
"Militaries officially use white phosphorus to obscure their operations on
the ground by creating thick smoke. It has also been used as an incendiary
weapon, though such use constitutes a war crime.
"In Gaza, the Israeli military didn’t just use white phosphorus in open areas
as a screen for its troops," said Fred Abrahams, senior emergencies
researcher at Human Rights Watch and co-author of the report. "It fired
white phosphorus repeatedly over densely populated areas, even when its troops
weren't in the area and safer smoke shells were available. As a result,
civilians needlessly suffered and died."
During Operation Cast Lead, the 22 days of
Israeli assault on Gaza, "Washington provided F-16 fighter planes, Apache
helicopters, tactical missiles, and a wide array of munitions, including white
phosphorus and DIME. The weapons required for the Israeli assault was decided
upon in June 2008, and the transfer of 1,000 bunker-buster GPS-guided Small
Diameter Guided Bomb Units 39 (GBU-39) were approved by Congress in September.
The GBU 39 bombs were delivered to Israel in November (prior to any claims of
Hamas cease fire violation!) for use in the initial air raids on Gaza." [3]
"The deliberate use of manmade ionizing
radiation is an assault upon people, the environment, and all living things.
Since the first Plutonium and Uranium nuclear bomb was exploded in New Mexico on
July 16, 1945, the contamination of the United States and the rest of the world
[continues].
"Those responsible for seven decades of
both domestic and international radiological assault are our own government
agencies: the Departments of Energy and Defense, and the NRC (some say it
stands for the Nuclear Radiating Committee) along with a multitude of
corporations involved in various aspects of manufacturing munitions of both
nuclear and 'conventional' weapons varieties. Used in military
combat, these radioactive munitions have been contaminating the Middle East and
other nations wherever they are fired and tested.
"Beyond military weapons applications,
energy firms that use nuclear reactors to generate the electricity that powers
America's TV sets are similarly polluting our air, water, and soil with these
DNA-wrecking poisons…[and] there are efforts underway to enrich even More
Uranium as well as plans to build More weapons facilities and fund bailouts
using taxpayers' money to build More experimental nuclear reactors with unsafe
designs like the Westinghouse
AP-1000 and AREVA's European Pressurised Reactor (EPR).
"While Nuclear-Everything is being
pushed on America as a "clean" energy alternative sanctified under
the guise of reduced carbon emissions, consider if you
will just a few effects of ionizing radiation: decreasing fertility rates,
miscarriages, genetic mutations, increasing rates of cancers, some forms of
heart disease, neuromuscular disease, and thyroid disease, diabetes, and other
endocrine-related disorders and many other radiation-induced diseases." [4]
It has been reported that workers and
citizens living near Israel’s Dimona WMD plant have been given iodine tablets
to ‘protect’ them from that leaking dinosaur and that childhood leukemia is on the rise.
During my 2005 interview with Mordechai
Vanunu, the whistle blower of Israel’s WMD program, he told me:
"The Israelis have 200 atomic weapons and they accuse the Palestinians and
Muslims of terrorism. The Dimona is 46 years old; reactors last 25 to 30 years.
The Dimona has never been inspected and Israel has never signed the Nuclear
Proliferation Treaty but all the Arab states have.
"Twenty years ago when I worked there they only produced when the air was
blowing towards Jordan ten miles away. No one knows what is happening now. The
world needs to wake up and see the real terrorism is the occupation and the
Palestinians have lived under that terror regime for 40 years."

It has been reported that on July 16, 1251, a vision of Mother Mary spoke words of
wisdom to a hermit named Simon Stock, of the order of The Brothers of the Blessed Virgin Mary of
Mount Carmel, whose origins go back to a Christian hermitage in Palestine.
It has been written,
that Mother Mary appeared before Simon Stock, and presented him with the
well-known brown scapular, a loose sleeveless garment destined for the Order of
Carmel, reaching from the shoulders to the knees. It was given as an assurance,
of her heavenly protection given for a life of prayer and sacrifice, and
because “God who is love [agape] it is also based on a sense of trustful unity
of being, nature and heart with the one whom we ask to pray for us and with us;
Mary, a sorrowful mother of a victim of violence.” [5]
In 1726, pope Benedict XIII designated July 16 as the Feast
Day of Our Lady of Carmel, better known as Mother Mary for this Christian
